No matter how the can spin it, this just makes Shogun look like a giant bitch for denying a fight. He is a lose lose atm for Shogun, but losing to Vera would be even worse than Texeira imo.

Shogun is gonna smash Vera so horribly bad everybody who said he's a punk for not fighting Teixeira will forgive him, and be back on his war wagon.

I don't think so. As far as jumping back on his "war wagon".

He gains absolutely nothing out of this fight. I don't even remember the last time Vera beat someone. Shogun wins this, his name isn't thrown back in the championship run, he's not a fight away from a title, he doesn't look like a force to be reckoned with. He'll just be the latest guy to beat Vera.

Getting into professional fighting, and then refusing to fight someone, that's a punk *** move.

Vera beat Elliott Marshall late last year. With a win he is probably 1 fight away from a title shot. Not because of who he beat but because of the lack of depth in LHW right now. Evans just lost. Rampage is gone. Davis is coming off of a loss. Same with Machida. Only Henderson and Gustaf are technically ranked higher than Rua right now.

Shogun said he'd rather be cut than fight Glover? I'm very confused. There has to be more to this story.

Terry Etim is hurt so Joe Lauzon will face Jamie Varner.

Nobody can honestly complain about this card, being that it's free.

All four main card fights are awesome, despite Vera being the main event. I'm happy to see Varner getting burn again, but hopefully he's in enough shape to make another good showing. I'm rooting for that guy to make another run.
