I can't understand how sports stars continue to not hire a driver or call a cab. If he didn't want to ride in a cab or car service car, just hire a driver to drive your car. These guys just don't get it.

At this point I think Jonny now needs to be really STRICTLY disciplined. I don't want to see this young kid with a very promising future in the sport die in a crash one day because of stupid mistakes like this.

I'm glad the guy is alright. When I was younger I foolishly got a DUI as well. I didn't wreck a car or anything like that, but it was definitely a learning experience. Hopefully he gets the wake up call that he needs and doesn't get into any more situations like this in the future. When you're on top of the world, I'm sure something like this is a bit of a reality check. I doubt the UFC does too much about this though based on how they've handled similar situations.

shame on him, been in his shoes but getting my DUI was the best thing that ever happened to me. Opened up my eyes, never did understand why athletes don't hire personally drivers.

I have lost a lot of respect for Jones. This guy is a father and he still thought it was a good idea to drive drunk. I question his IQ. At least his wiki page was good for a few laughs. Someone edited his page and said he lost by TKO (DUI stoppage)
