And yes, there a re not a lot of superfights possible.
That's why it's called superfight
So a superfight is based strictly on YOUR opinion? I personally think Pettis is a great fighter. I think Frankie Edgar is a great fighter. They both fought or will fight Aldo. That makes their fights superfights I guess.

Again its a nonsense thing to get upset about. Its called promotion.

Looks like the fight is off. Dana just announced that Aldo doesnt want to fight Pettis because he doesnt believe Pettis deserves it. Dana said he is going to pressure him to take the fight.

Aldo is going to turn a lot of people off by this. It's not his call of who deserves a shot... I'm on one of his biggest fans but if he ruins this match it will leave a bitter taste. Fight who is placed in front of you if you're the champ... And I do believe Pettis is skipping over contenders but it's a fight that people wouldn't mind seeing.

Nothing. It would be considered a breach of his contract.

The UFC hasn't done that though, at least publicly. They need to start doing it. There isn't any other place for them to go now. Bellator can only pay so much money and these guys aren't going to want to fight in a tourney. The UFC can be nice and ask who they want to fight, but if there is a fight that will make money, they should say you are fighting this person on this date. Either show up or don't, its your money and career.
