I agree, all these people hyping up Weidman, man his hype train gonna be derailed quickly tonight. Only fight that matters now is AS vs JJ. Nothing else interests me with either fighter now.

Nobody in the middleweight division interests me for Andereson, except Weidman.

As far as Jones, Glover interests me the most and I still think Gus is a good matchup with his length.

I strongly doubt Jones and Anderson ever fight but that's just me.

I find the main event fascinating and can't wait to see what unfolds.

There is so much riding on it financially from the UFC's perspective that it is going to be nuts.

First Silva fight I have looked forward to since 82.

They honestly have no reason not to fight. I wouldn't hold it against either of them if they never fought, but Anderson can easily move up to 205.

It's not as if Anderson is having a drastic fall in performance with his age.

They both have fights lined up to defend their belts, but if they both win there isn't a must see fight in either division.

So really, they have no excuse not to make it happen.

Doesnt the UFC win either way. Silva win = a super fight. Silva loss = a huge rematch. Both will occur on SB wknd probably since its in Jersey. Huge numbers either way imo.

More or less I guess.

I think the UFC needs an "0" fighter bad and if Weidman wins, I think he has more marketing appeal than Silva who just has never broken through like the UFC brass expected.

But if Silva dominates him, then the Weidman was overrated and it was just another easy defense for Silva chorus sings loudly.

However, at some point father time will catch up to Silva. It may happen tonight, it may not.

But I think the UFC knows they need a superfight worse and it will be massively gutshotted if Silva loses. GSP is already running from it and Silva was the meat in the superfight sandwich that could go up or down (GSP or JBJ). If he loses, obviously any superfight is in trouble or lost a lot of its luster.

So many factors and consequences of this fight...I can't wait to see what happens. Arguments can be made either way which is the better outcome for the health of the UFC.

It is going to be fascinating entertainment tonight.
