On a side note, the fight was originally going to be the main event for the first FS1 card but Jones needed more time to heal.

I'm not so sure which fight was the toughest for jones but here's what he said to Ariel about Gus

Evans was his toughest going into it. Evans' skillset, the hype and the fact that they trained together equaled a ton of pressure.

I don't think this will be a tough fight for Jones, but it is who I wanted to see him fight. Gustaffson has earned his shot. I don't know how many title eliminators you have to win to get a title shot these days.

I think Jones was the most cautious in this fight. I think the Machida fight was a little tougher. May not seem that way in the end seeing how the fight ended. I'd rather not see Machida get another title shot. I can't stand watching the guy run around the cage avoiding contact.

I really felt like they should have waited and let Hendo get his shot after the Jones/Sonnen fight. Instead they put him in a fight with Machida that I knew he would lose just because of the way their styles match up.
