He won't be submitted if he is on top. When is the last time Roy submitted someone off his back? Sure he might have great grappling credentials, but when he has been on his back he has looked awful (Frank Mir fight).

I like the Nelson/DC fight. Strictly speaking as a fan, I think it will be exciting and evenly matched.

I think we will see the best of both these guys and it will be a Fight of the Night contender.

Edit: Took back what I said about Mir, I was being a little harsh.

Didn't Cormier say something about dropping to 205? I don't see anything wrong with settling a little business with Nelson if he doesn't plan on being in the division for much longer anyway.

I don't mind the matchup, but only because there's really no one else for Cormier to fight. Well, other than Werdum and since DC won't fight Cain, then there's no sense in giving DC a shot to potentially knock off a top contender.

At least Nelson will go out there and give it his all. Do I expect him to win? H to the No. His track record against top 5-8 HW's isn't pretty. JDS, Mir, Werdum and Miocic all easily picked him apart and I expect DC to do the same. Win or lose though, I would bet that we'll get our money's worth and it won't be another snoozer like DC/Mir was.

I believe so, which makes the "demand" (I think that's the word I saw used on Twitter, hence the quotes) seem even more ridiculous.
