You almost got your wish. On Fox Sports Live, Dana said the original plan was to put DC/Rashad on the Baltimore card.

I was in tears earlier when I heard that Rashad was going to need surgery so they Baltimore was out. That wouldve been the most stacked card I've ever seen live. About equal to UFC 129 in Toronto.

Rashad is on the shelf for six months. I was hoping he'd be back a bit sooner. That's too bad.

Since the card is coming up I thought I'd post here, but is anyone else worried about the state of the UFC? I'm taking everything into account and everything that's led up to this card. From small to big. I just get this feeling like the UFC isn't heading in a great direction.

I was watching the Countdown show for the card and even something was off about it. Just seemed so drab and the analysts on there made me so irritated. The most cookie cutter analysis they could find.

Overall it's like I'm not excited about the product right now.

From injuries, to production, to Dana, to the watered down cards... I'm getting worried. I am thinking the UFC is trying to evolve too fast for its own good. Like they bit off more than they could chew and the fact that they are trying to market to a broader audience I feel like is alienating its current fans. I can't even put my finger on any specific instance but overall, I haven't really been too hyped for these cards. It sucks but I can now freely admit to myself that I do not get that same feeling I used to with the UFC.

I think there is legit reason to be worried too is what makes me sick.

Edit: I forgot to add the biggest reason for me being worried: fighters just fighting not to lose. Champs are not exempt from this either. I think the rules need to be looked at to get more action.
