Moving to 205 is the best thing that Rumble ever did. Impressive performance. Jones has a hell of a chin, but this is a different kind of power. Looks like another must watch fight. I'm ready.

Are you saying that the stoppage was premature? His head was bouncing like a soccer ball with those last few shots. Hell, if it had been stopped a little earlier than it was I don't think that there would've been too many complaints.

I'm kinda dumbfounded by his UFC run. I watched him at 205 in the WSOF and while he was knocking folks out I didnt think he could do that in the UFC.

What the Davis and Gus fight show is 1) He can stop takedowns and is strong enough to not let someone control him and 2) He doesnt seem to have an issue with length. I expect Jones to pull out all the dirty tricks against Rumble.

Lol, I just watched it again. Disregard that statement. I was in the kitchen when it originally happened and I couldn't see it very well. After watching it again, I think that was a really late stoppage. That ref should be suspended. Gus ate like 15 extra punches.

I'm guessing the fight is in Vegas during July 4th weekend. Memorial day is out because of the Aldo/Conor fight and I cant see the UFC scheduling this fight anywhere else but Vegas.
