Yeah, looks like the card is being moved to FS1, Wonderboy/Hendricks now the main event.

I'm thinking Werdum pulled out because he didn't want the fight. He is using the injury as an excuse so he doesn't look bad. 2 weeks notice for a title fight is hard and probably not smart to take the fight. So while terrible for the fans and the division, I do see why he is doing it.

I stand corrected. I wonder if FS1 cut the UFC a deal.

FS1 had motocross scheduled, so not a big ratings grabber. UFC probably is getting paid extra, unless they absorbed this into the current contract and a future card later in the year will move to PPV. If Fox can get 400,000 it probably would be a success.

I'm just shocked the UFC did this. It's been a long time since a numbered card was on TV. Probably a good move with Fox having a card this weekend, then FS1 the next weekend. Then as long as McGregor doesn't get hurt, you have all the ads for that card.

They re-named the card to Fight Night whatever. 197 now becomes 196.
