He looks really good at 185...no need to move back down.

I probably have an unpopular opinion but I kind of disagree, well half-disagree. You're definitely right that he looks good, but Cowboy looked good at 170 until he fought a prime contender. I know there is a difference, and the difference is Kelvin misses weight at 170, and Cowboy never did at 155, so it's not a perfect comparison.

My thinking is I think Kelvin can beat anyone at 170. He fought Woodley do a split decision and I think he would take the rematch. I am not sure how he would do against the top 185ers like Yoel or Jacare. The idea of him fighting winner of Weidman-Gegard is interesting though. Guess we could find out for sure then.

I was always under the impression that Kelvin missing weight was a diet/discipline problem, not a "body shutting down, gotta go to the ER" problem. I could be wrong though.

ANd honestly, I think Dana White wants anyone but Woodley to be his 170 champ after that last performance. I think he would welcome Kelvin back to 170 if Kelvin proves he can make the weight

The UFC really wants him to succeed because they want him for the Mexico market. They gave him more changes to stay at 170 than should have been given. He was able to easily make 170 with Dolce, but he thought he cost too much and could do it himslef.

If he wants to go back to 170, the UFC should force him to pay Dolce and do 2-3 cuts to ensure he can do it.

Watching the post fight presser right now, sounds like Kelvin is saying he either wants Anderson, or a number one conternder fight at 170.

Either way I will be happy to watch it, wherever/whoever the fight is. I said this leading up to this Kennedy fight, I always felt he was under-rated. Two losses, both split decisions, against Woodley and Magny, and I thought he won the Magny fight

the dude certainly won the end of the Magny and Woodley fight. 170 really seems more appropriate given his size, but he does look good at middleweight

Kelvin is just so fast at 185. These guys can't handle that speed and footwork.

I really really don't wanna see him fight Silva though. I love Silva too much.. Kelvin would merk Silva at this point in his career.. I wanna Silva fight Rashad or Dan Kelly.

Love watching Gastelum since watching him as an underdog in the TUF house. He's on record saying he believes he could be a really good MW, but a great WW.

I guess now his plan is to wipe out big name past their prime MWs until he's forced to fight a relevant MW. He has 0 leverage at WW because of missing weight.
