Weidman v. Mousasi is the first official fight.

Cormier v. Rumble 2 will likely be the main event but it isnt official.

IDK. Weidman's last fight was brutal. Dude needs a tune up fight. Losing 3 in a row would be pretty bad.

IMO Weidman is great example of a person with exceptional ability, terrible fight iq and bad coaching. (Longo)

I think the best advice I've heard from Longo was "punch a whole in his chest". It was Tarverdyan-esque.

I like Weidman, and would much rather see him fight someone like Dollaway, Brunson, Hall.

Honestly there was only one person who I wanted Weidman to fight and that was Robert Whittaker. I just think that would be a sexy fight especially how he fought off Brunson and now Brunson is fighting Silva who lost to Weidman.

I expected Gegard - Whittaker tbh.

I wonder who Whittaker is gonna get next now.

I won't believe Cormier is fighting his original opponent until it they're both in the octagon.

I wanted Mousasi vs. Rockhold, but Weidman is a decent substitute. Gegard is tough for anyone, so this should be a good one. At least this time Weidman doesn't have to worry about any death blows like my man Yoel bestowed upon him. Nice start to the card with these fights.
