UFC 218: Holloway vs. Aldo 2

    Main Card (PPV)
Max Holloway vs. Jose Aldo (Featherweight Championship)
    Alistair Overeem vs. Francis Ngannou
    Henry Cejudo vs. Sergio Pettis
    Eddie Alvarez vs. Justin Gaethje
    Tecia Torres vs. Michelle Waterson

    Preliminary Card (FS1)
    Charles Oliveira vs. Paul Felder
    Alex Oliveira vs. Yancy Medeiros
    David Teymur vs. Drakkar Klose
    Felice Herrig vs. Courtney Casey

    Preliminary Card (Fight Pass)
    Amanda Cooper vs. Angela Magana
Sabah Homasi vs. Abdul Razak Alhassan
    Jeremy Kimball vs. Dominick Reyes
    Justin Willis vs. Allen Crowder

Another very strong card on paper. I'm interested in the entire PPV and there's some decent scraps on the prelims. I really wanted to see Edgar and Holloway go at it, but it will be cool to see how Aldo looks in the rematch.

Can Ngannou land a death blow on Overeem or will Reem use his experience to take him out?

Gaethje and Alvarez? 'Nuff said, that's going to be a ridiculous fight.

Felder to end the prelims is a nice look. I think he's going to blast throught Oliveira, but we'll see. How the hell is Angela Magana still in the UFC? I think that's the real question on this PPV lol.

    Let's get it on.

    Very excited for this card!

Also, if I'm not mistaken, second straight PPV with everyone making weight.

Good card. Here's Aldo talking about his apparent issues with the weight cut,.

Tecia Torres. Could go either way though.

        Gaethje
. I think Justin has the wrestling to stop Eddie taking him down (if Eddie tries this route to victory). I also think Justin is the better striker with more tools on the feet. I think he'll finish Eddie.

        Cejudo
. Not too sure but Cejudo is the more complete fighter and his stand up against Reis looked very, very good. His distance management was super on point. However, could end up being a mistake if he's too confident and plays that game with Pettis. Still taking Cejudo though.

Ngannou. Ngannou might be green and not have the striking skill of Overeem.... But he has crazy power and athleticism. Overeem does not have a chin. Those two things do not go well together. I can see this going either way again though. Super excited for this one.... It's the fight that's really gonna tell us the kind of fighter Ngannou is going to be.

Holloway. I don't see Holloway getting finished. He has a great chin. I think it's only a matter of time before Holloway hurts Aldo. He doesn't get tired and Aldo has cardio issues. Having cardio issues against a guy that has great cardio, throws tons of strikes, and has hurt you before is a recipe for disaster. I don't know how the fight will unfold but I think the odds are in Holloway's favour.

        Who you guys got?

A different set of rules applies to the women in general. One of the reasons is because they all suck and have awful records. Another is how good they look.

The women's flyweight champion of the world is 4-2. She was 3-2 before the title fight lol. The women's divisions are filler to me. They're less technical and athletic than the men. There's a few women that are really nice to watch but a lot of them just have ****ty stand up fights that go to decisions. There's been a few womens fights that were put on PPV's in the last year that were so questionable. Like girls making their debut and stuff. They were pretty hot though so that's why they got that treatment.

Idk why the UFC are pushing the women so hard. It shows they're willing to push things that people aren't that interested in. They won't push DJ though. A guy who clearly deserves a push based on resume, skill, and achievements (whether you like small guys or not).

Kind of surprised with that decision, lol. Right dude won, but it had the aura of a potentially robbery during the fight.

Herb was kind of out of control in round 1.

Herb isnt having his night. I hope he won't ruin more fights. Klose took the tauning way too far. Teymur is a counterfighter, the guy should have known that when he trained for him.

Ridiculous that Herb lets a fighter dictate the fight like that.

Insane first round of Oliveira v Medeiros. Both fighters get dropped but Medeiros gets rocked more towards the end of the round with a lot of leading right hands by Oliveira.

Teymur was also initiating most exchanges.

Yancy's skill and durability look much improved at 170.
