Started a "realtime" fantasy UFC game in WWMA5 2 weeks ago. Just finished UFC 231:

Me too ...she needs a win . I still think Rose loses her next title defence . I just have a feeling .

Really excited for this card tonight.

I think Ortega wins the main event, probably by sub in the later rounds.

Holloway has worried me recently with his ordeal. Hope he looks good regardless.

Cannot wait for the fights tonight. I think Gadelha dominates Ansaroff, other than that I have no clue who wins the main or co main.

I’m leaning Holloway and Schevchenko. But who knows.

Joanna could possibly out point Valentina with her high pace and speed. Ortega could stagger Holloway with a lead hook then snatch a choke. Never know in MMA.

But overall I (slightly) think Schevchenko wins on size alone, and Holloway wins the striking exchanges whilst avoiding the BJJ of Ortega.

I think Valentina wins handily. I'm bigger Valentina fan, I just want to see Joanna do well. I think she got a bad rap. (For the most part)

I want Holloway to win soooo bad, so everyone that gambles should probably put money on Ortega.

This main card is fantastic, bummed Moicano isn't fighting though.

Re: UFC 231: Holloway v Ortega

I think my dislike for fighters in UFC 3 ( by this I mean fighters who my pals use to abuse stamina and pressure ) has transferred to real life .

I want max to loose . There I said it .

But seriously this fight is going to a decision very very close I think .

Re: UFC 231: Holloway v Ortega

I used to love Joanna, but she's turned into a WWE character. That being said, I'm hoping for a solid fight. She's far from washed up. Also having Valentina as Flyweight champ appeals to my sense of order in divisions. We went from superfights being super to not headlining PPV's. Just stop. We wanna see real contenders fight for the belt, not force people into weightclasses for a cool poster...

Max has done little wrong in my eyes. His style is fire, he welcomes all comers, and in an age of money he's willing to play the part of the defending champion.

Tangentially I also think Woodley might be one of UFC's best champions too. And I can't fathom how he got the reputation for ducking opponents. he complains, but's he's fought nothing but top contenders.
