Re: MVP Baseball 2004 & 2005 Rosters question
Just thought I'd help you out as someone who knows the MVP community quite well by telling you that that is an extraordinarily difficult thing to find. Firstly, remember that back then games didn't do roster updates. So the game came out and that was that. The community would make updates but usually only on PC, but all those forums are gone now. You could try over on MVP Mods but again that is a PC centric community because the only version of that game that was ever modded or worked on was the PC one as was the case for all sports games 20 years ago. -
Re: MVP Baseball 2004 & 2005 Rosters question
I think I still have the original excel file of the final roster update for MVP 05 somewhere (labelled 12/13/05, we had to release it before the end of December, as Jan 1, 2006 is when 2K's 3rd party exclusivity kicked in), though I doubt it would do you much good.
Fun fact: although Miguel Cabrera and Zack Greinke were the last active players on the shipped version of MVP 2005, that final roster update includes Nelson Cruz, Rich Hill, Justin Verlander, and Adam Wainwright.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
