Thank you very much. I'll try and get these done in the next couple days.

Another Cubs prospect

Sam Fuld (A Daytona)
#5
Ht: 5-10 Wt: 180
Position: CF
Bats: L
Throws: L Date of Birth: 11/20/1981

Given his great tools at the plate and in the outfield. The speedyOF has great range at center field and can make things happen on the basepath as well.

Inside The Ivy: You've always shown good plate discipline and a knack for getting on base. In your opinion, what set you apart from some of the more aggressive, less disciplined hitters in the Pac 10?

Sam Fuld: Well, I just always knew that walks could be a real vital part of somebody’s game, especially for a guy that hits at the top of the order like I. There are a lot of ways to get on base. It may not always show up on your average necessarily, but I take a lot of pride in walking and seeing a lot of pitches.

Rated by Baseball America as having the best strike-zone discipline in the Cubs minors. In 125 games last season Fuld only struck out 44 times. He is the type of guy who can come in and pinch-hit and get on base or move a runner along when it is critical. Defensively, Fuld is solid also. He has been known to make some amazing over-the-shoulder catches on the warning track.

I'll try to have him for Wednesday, possibly Thursday.
EDIT: My apologies, I am not able to make this CAP at this time.
