- Adjusted a number of players contact, power, plate discipline, and speed ratings based on formulas using 2008 stats. If a guy has a history of high average and too a dive last year I would only adjust him down part way, taking historical performance into account.
- Adjusted some pitchers ratings where it was obvious they wwere rated too high\low.
- Adjusted some OFs throwing strength based on 2008 outfield arm stats found over at TheHardballTimes

Where I could really use some help is if people could identify players whose ratings seem too high or low. I don't have time to go through every single player and compare their MVP ratings to what I've calculated.
had a question: koebner noted that you had a number of players on the wrong teams...have those been fixed? appreciate you sharing these...just wanted to be certain that they were correct. thanks!

I know he fixed some of them. I've tried to get these as close as possible, but I'm not guaranteeing these 100% accurate. That's why I've been asking for others to help point out things that need to be changed.

yeah, was wondering the same thing? not to sound bad (and don't take this wrong) but i'm familiar with koebner's attention to detail and trust his work. if he found a number of problems with the original file, it just makes me a little leery about this newest one. again, don't take this as criticism, just a question that all of us would want to know. thanks!

Re: Xbox rosters as of 2-17-09

I should have another update tonight. Last night I went through a number of teams again. This round I noticed a few teams that needed middle relievers moved around. I also updated the Mariners and Braves lineups to account for the additions of Griffey and Anderson.

The transactions in my next file will be up through Juan Cruz signing with the Royals.

Re: Xbox rosters as of 2-17-09

thanks again for doing this. it's looking like 2k9 is going to suck again this year, so i'm not even thinking of purchasing it.

mvp is the funnest baseball game i've ever played, and i'm appreciative of people like you keeping this game alive!!

here is a helpful link for early depth charts...you can use the drop down menu for all other teams: http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Dep...aspx?sport=MLB
