Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

Not intending to flog a dead horse here....BUT...we can edit players within the game and not affect the roster from Gomer/Kerm?? I am would like to give HeeSeoup Choi a little more power (he's got 9 dingers in real life) and Moises Alou a little better numbers vrs Righties because he has hit 7 hr's in the first month of the season and currently his contact and power are something like 68 /67 respectively?? Also Joe Boroski's velocity is waaaaayyy down so I need to turn that down a little. I fired a high fastball past Kearns last night for a strikeout save at 94 mph. Sorry to say it but it appears the only way Jo Bo is going to hit the mid 90's this year is by driving wrecklessly.

Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

You can change whatever you want in the game its your dynasty after all isnt it?

the ratings for the people you mentioned and most VETERANS were not changed its the way EA formulated them not Kerm.

I and Kerm for that matter try and not tamper with the Veterns that Were created by EA unless
there is a substantial reason to do so, the names you mentioned were Far from all stars!

Joe Borowski: Pitching
Borowski's repertoire is more like a starter's than a closer's. He doesn't throw especially hard, but has good command of a decent low-90s fastball, slider and changeup. Hitters from either side of the plate find him equally tough, but his raw stuff isn't dominant, and he can be hit when he leaves one over the plate. He's able to work on successive days but is at his strongest when he's given a couple of days off between appearances. He gives up a fair number of flyballs, but most of them stayed in the park last year. Since he pitched mostly in a setup role before last year, he's comfortable working more than one inning at a time. More...

Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

To those concerned with top spin I say in my opinion WHO CARES...as long as its a home run. I dont care if I barely get it over the wall with a lefty as long as its able to get over the wall in every park. Any homers is better than none. Just my opinion though

Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

I just restarted my dynasty with the rockies today, and the 3rd time up to bat with helton i hit a towering 510 ft bomb with him.

before this roster i dont even know if i hit a homer with him, ive hit plenty of doubles nad triples. the only time he hit homers was when i managed games.

Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

It was mentioned on pg.3 of the "we console players are pretty much getting screwed" topic in the MVP forum. Maybe I just misunderstood that it couldn't be done on PS2 for some reason. MY BAD... your rosters still kick million dollar A$$!!!
