Mike Hessman is in the game, but I haven't seen LaRoche or Betemit. Anyone know if the random named guys actually correspond to anyone, or if they're truly just random?

Thats the question I have also. I am trying to figure out who the "Joe Mauer" would be, and place him in the majors. I thought about creating him, but I dont really know what his stats would be.

Yep. That is what is holding me back on adding some of these players.

I feel that they are lurking in the AA or AAA. Unfortunately, under incorrect names.

I edited a scrub AA Braves 1B into LaRoche.
I guess I'll do the same for Betemit.

It's too bad there is no player look up feature. That would save tons of time.

Like say you wanted to know where Ramon Castro is, just type it in and it would say A's.

Then you can move him over to the Marlins.

Instead of fishing through all the rosters looking for people.

Big help for the AA and AAA players.

I also wish EA had included some sort of clue that the player is fake. Like if their name is Jeff Brown, make it Jeffx Brown.

Then if people didn't care about fake names but did care about the x, they could just edit the x off the name if they wanted too and those who do care about the real players would know to try and find out who this guy is.

The other drag is that if EA comes through with opening day rosters, all the work that I, and anyone else editing these roster, do would not be for naught.

Who won't want the EA roster if it has better player likenesses, pictures and current stats for Mauer, Betemit, Kaz, LaRoche, Millar, etc.?

Noticed I reserved stats? Anyone check out Jeter's ratings?

Did he pay EA off?

Is anyone working on PC rosters? Also, any word on an editor? Its a pain in the butt to do all that through the MVP interface.

Gforce of www.rosterdevelopmentgroup.com is doing PC rosters. His will have all minor leaguers named as well, but will not be available until around opening day.

I don't know what to tell you man, try going to the codejunkies.com forums. That is where I found out about others using the Microsoft memory card in the AR and having success loading files that the AR card said were damaged. I put the card in my Xbox controller, named the card, took it upstairs to my PC and put it in the AR and was using saves the AR card wouldn't load literally minutes later on the Microsoft card. make sure you are using the newest AR software version, that may be a prob, I'm not sure!!!!!

I personally don't even use the AR card anymore. I will probably send it back to Datel b/c they will replace it for free. The AR is pretty poorly made, but it serves its purpose.........sometimes!
