Good points Millenium and Pared. I think part of the issue was it was the first time I played without the strikezone. I was hitting my spots accurately, just leaving them out over the plate a little too much. Schilling didn't get his first strikeout until the 4th when I started getting the hang of it.

Hitting wise, I actually did better than I have been. I had been averaging 8+ K's a game but Sheets only had 5 K's. You're right though, I do have to work on my patience.

Pared, takes this like you would a grain of salt. I have not tried your sliders yet, but I have one question: It seems like everyone is having a hard time hitting the ball. Of course, they may be rushing the pitch count and swing at the 1st three pitches (Good morning, good afternoon, and good night! I hate that commentary...). I thought it may be more realistic to lower the CPU's contact and higher the human's contact...

One more note that I forgot to mention. Part of my problem was that I check my swing a lot. With the foul ball frequency so high I was either fouling them off or sending a dribbler right back to the pitcher. I probably check swinged into 3 outs. If I remember correctly you can turn down the check swing frequency so I may try that as well.
