I started a dynasty and figured I could see how realist the stats are over a few games and I'm pleased so far. I'm only 1-3, but 3 have been by 2 runs or less and the only bad game I got shut out 5-0 by Contreras. The only bad thing is just about all the runs I've given up have been homeruns but I should get better hopefully, lost my last game cause Omar Infante hit a grand slam, but that didn't bother me as much as some of the others because it was a full count and I had to throw a strike.

I don't what most of you are talking about but I steal quite easily with Cliff Floyd who has a 65 speed rating. The sliders are almost perfect. The cpu does seem to get most of its runs on homeruns and I have been able to give up more than 8 hits a game plus walking a few batters per game. I haven't noticed the cpu taking a lot of called third strikes. I think some of you play one game with Pared's sliders and then assume there is something wrong. You have to play at least 10 games to find the flaws. For basestealing, just take a huge lead and you'll be fine. The speed of the fielders are fine. The only problem I have is starting pitchers who in real life have great endurance tire too quickly even with the pitch count at 60.

Nope, that's not me! Anyway, I lowered the CPU batting contact to 8, and itr seems to have helped somewhat in regards to first pitch swinging. Some games, I'll tremendously realistic pitch counts, and other games they are lower than what they should be. Still tinkering with it a bit, though.

Cool, I remember his old name was devil something, so I thought I'd ask.

Everyone, no need for the many PM's! A new updated slider set will be released this weekend sometime... maybe even tonight...

This may be cruel, but as a guy who used to work all the time on sliders/rosters, I love it when he teases you guys...

I must say that these sliders are wonderful. They seem very realistic to me. The only change that I have made is increasing the user power, because it seemed like when the CPU would leave something hanging, my long ball hitters couldn't hit it out of the park, they died at the track (even with the shorter outfield walls), even when I had the timing down perfectly. I moved it to +5 and it seems to be working fine for me. I really need to be more patient at the plate. In my first 5 games, I worked the counts and went 4-1. Lately, though, I have been hacking at more pitches out of the zone. I've lost my last 6 (dropped two straight to the 2-7 Pirates). I had a good game going this afternoon, wrapping up the Pirate series, (up 5-2 in the 8th) but the power went out.

Question: If you want the Human controlled pitcher to last longer, do you increase the Pitcher fatigue slider (0 to 5) or decrease it (0 to -5)?

You would decrease it- I have mine at -5 for example.
