Pro Sliders?

I'm a total novice w/ this game...

I'd like to try some pro level sliders to get 'in the game'...

What slider set do you guys reccomend?

These seemed like the most popular, but I never really tried them.

I'm actually also looking for some feed back on pro sliders as well.

Heelfan's Pro sliders work pretty well if you have problems hitting. You can't hack away at every pitch or no slider set will work for you however.

I too had a very difficult time hitting until I learned to work the pitch count a BIT better (a work in progress)...

But the simple solution is to wait for an outside pitch and try to send it to the opposite field...

I have (Pro Level) the CPU Control set to -50, the ball rate at +10 and my contact and power sliders set to +50...

It sounds cheesier than it actually is...

I still K about 8-12 times a game...

Hit in the low .200 as a team...

And get about 1 HR and 1-2 Doubles / Triples per game...

Run a search for 'Batting Tips' and give the Mini Game a shot...

It's all about timing (difficult) and Pitch Count (somewhat less difficult)...

But, overall, the 'opposite field' strategy will at least keep you in a game, if you pitch well...

Very deep game...deep learning curve...

Last year, I did ok on all-star, but it was such a struggle. So this year I decided to go to pro. Maybe my timing is off, even after several games. But for some strange reason I'm behind tthe pitch more than I was on All-Star.

But in reality, it's good. If I start to dominate, I can always make the sliders a little harder.

Hell fans ARE a great starting choice for rookies of this game...once you can finally start taking a grip of walks per game then you know it is tiime to move up fromm them to a better set.. im currently using sizemores... LOVE EM... been using them for about three fourths of a season or so i think and can't complain... i cant and wont again every try to play on all star... so pro is for me...

I would also recommend lower pitch speed a bit until you get to know the pitches.

Played my first game with the sliders i like them thanks again won my first game 5-1 Braves 5 Brewers 1 . 8 hits to 6 for me . plus i had 10 SO Jonh Smoltz

OK. I can't hit for anything. I did ok last year for some reason...but this year i can't hit at all. I've tried Pro and All-Star.

I think my options are...

1- Lower pitch speed. I did this for 1 and a 1/2 games, but I think it messes up my power hitting. Can anyone confirm this?

2- Lower ball counts. Have the pitcher throw only strikes.
