MVP Baseball 2005 Mod Available Now, Updated Rosters, Cyberfaces, Uniforms, More (PC)

To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of MVP Baseball, MVPMods have posted a new mod for the PC version of MVP Baseball 2005, they call it MVP Baseball 2015.

It contains nearly 200 new or updated cyberfaces, uniform updates, the 2015 schedule, a full Opening Day roster including minor leagues, new in-game and menu music, new menus and loading screens, and new player audio.

Obviously you need the PC version of MVP Baseball 2005 (if you don't have it, it's not cheap) and download the patch.

Below are the installation instructions.

• After you have downloaded the "MVP15.7z" file, double-click to open it.
• Extract the contents of the MVP15.7z file into a folder.
• Double-click the "explodeme.exe' file
• Select the folder that contains a CLEAN copy of MVP Baseball 2005 and click "Extract". Note that a CLEAN copy is a fresh install or a patched, non-modded install of the game.
• Allow the program to extract all of the new content. If the installer asks for your permission to overwrite files, select "Yes to All"
• When installation is complete, start the game and play the new MVP 15 mod!

NOTES

• It is recommended that you install MVP15 over a clean install of MVP Baseball 2005 with at least up to Patch #2.
• To be able to access all of the uniforms, it will be necessary for you to install a Profile that unlocks all classic uniforms and stadiums.
• When playing in minor league stadiums listed as "Classic Stadiums," it is recommended to turn off the "Cooperstown Effect."

I am really glad to have contributed to this project. MVP Baseball 2005 has always held a soft spot in my heart and was really one of the few games that defined my teenage years. I'm much older, but I continue to play the game to this very day. It's just too fun to put down.

I would love to get this game; but i absolutely refuse to pay $100 or more for ANY video game much less one thats 11 years old. Saying this dies not take away from the tremendous work mods have done with it. But dudes selling it for that much is just taking advantage of people.

No one's taking advantage of anyone. It's supply and demand, that's all. Taking advantage of someone would be something like selling it and then only sending one disk...or sending a backup copy instead.

Was it taking advantage of people who spent $10K to watch the Mayweather/Pacman fight? No. They had the money and they knew what the were getting.

Of course not. Why would we be touting this as MVP 15 and it being reflective of 2014? Jeter's pic is in the game as a tribute/testament to his retiring last year. But he's not on the rosters. However, MVPmods has put out tons of classic rosters and, of course, great present day rosters spanning the past decades too, in which you will find Mr. Jeter.
