Question about completing collections and selling players

I have a quick question about selling players in MyTeam after you complete a collection. After I complete a team collection, let's say the Historic Magic to get Shaq, is it ok to sell the players that I don't need? Will the collection still show up as being completed?

I think you wont get the achievement in case you pull every historic player. I sold some players from the Historic Warrior and of course I kept Mullin with me, but thats it, the rest except the TMC is empty.
