Carmelo is a hidden gem

Seriously. I rarely see people use him that much. But that volume shooting badge is very nice. It doesn't matter if you miss or make, as long as he keeps shooting, he gets really hot. And when he's hot he makes all them fadeaways and leaners even with defenders in his face.

he is a liability defensively, perhaps thats the reason why you rarely see people use him

In terms of the NBA wouldn't really say he's a hidden gem...he's one of the best players in the league. In terms of this game, yes I agree with you he is a hidden gem.

I love using Melo in this game, his release is insane (put it on my MyPlayer) and his FT is awesome (Also put it on my MyPlayer)

He's not terrible on defense and if you user control him it almost nullifies his poor rating. I love to play him at the 4 because he is a beast from everywhere on the court and his post game is really good too.

I like to use players and lineups that people don't normally use. The only people I have that are widely used are Magic and Kobe and that's just because I'm a Lakers fan

Idk who you played against but Melo is defiantly a common player in RTP games.

Every player gets a significant defensive boost in RTP games because of the SIM sliders.

I've run into Melo quite a bit and it always makes me smile. I'd rather my opponent try to gun it with Melo than paint smash with jordan.
