Is MyTeam similar to MUT?

Is MyTeam a money grabber that you could spend a lot and get little to nothing good at all? MUT does that and I was wondering if I should switch over to MyTeam instead. I have heard good things about it in general but just from casual fans who spend lots of money on it and have ok/good teams.

I have a great MyTeam, which is listed in my signature, and I've never spent any money on the mode at all. It does take some grinding such as playing Domination mode games, offline gold tournaments, and MyGM season simulations using custom rosters, but in the end it's worth it to me as you can save quite a bit of money.

So, to answer your question, a lot of people consider it a money-grabber since they have very limited time on their hands and get a lot of duplicates, but it is quite possible to get the players you want if you spend a little time on the mode.

I quit mut after the Super Bowl and fully invested into my team which is a lot better besides the absence of muts auction house and trade block
