Re: Unexpected good players in your Myteam

If you want a good silver big man, try Nikola Vucevic. He's 80 rated overall, so pretty much a gold. He rebounds well, and has a decent post up game. He actually has good shooting stats too (83 rating for standing midrange shot) although I never really tested it in game.

Hairston/Meeks for 3 point shooters and Afflalo is a good all round player. Also Isaiah Thomas is pretty deadly perimeter shooter. He outplayed John Wall most games.

Re: Unexpected good players in your Myteam

Dennis Schroeder, Xavier Henry, and Wayne Ellington are awesome bronze guys. Schroeder is a mid range monster and is good at getting to the rim. Xavier and Ellington both better than him. Xavier better than both.

Anybody in here own James Enis or Perry Jones?

They play kind of similar and I have them both

Good rebounders, get blocks, can play SF or PF, hit 3's and run fast breaks awesome.

Bronze guy that I hate the most that is in my rotation? Luke Babbit. Seems like he misses every single wide open 3 that isn't a perfect release despite having like an 85 or so 3pt rating.

Dellavodova has been awesome for me.
I'm not a fan so far. His shot release is pretty long, and it's hard to master because of that weird hitch at the end. Defensively, he can't guard anybody. I only bring him in at the end of games when the CPU is going to foul me and I need to make free throws.

Quote:
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is a 3 point machine for me
I tried playing him at small forward so I could take advantage of his "corner specialist" badge, but he still bricks everything from the outside for me. Instead, I'm using him as a ball-handling guard, since he's a decent defender and a good playmaker/penetrator.

Monta Ellis is a very good scorer and fairly cheap
Monta is the only gold player I have right now, and the only bad things about him are his defense and his lengthy shot release. He's great in transition and in the mid-range pick-and-roll game.

Quote:
Shane Larkin good bronze point guard, speedy, can finish and shoot.
I like his speed, defense, and passing, but even with his quick release, this guy misses tons of open looks for me. He's especially weak as an inside finisher, since he can't dunk and has low layup rating.

Sergey Karasev
I don't know what I'm doing wrong with this guy, because he has a decent three-point rating (82), but I can't make anything with him. His defense and athleticism are also suspect.

Anybody in here own Perry Jones?
Jones is the reason that I won the challenge against the all-time centers team. He held up very nicely going against CPU Olajuwon in the post. I don't use him in my regular lineup, though, because I prefer a power forward who can hit threes. But he was great for that one game.

Re: Unexpected good players in your Myteam

My favorite bronzes so far:

Ryan Hollins (Kings, center) -- He's got the eraser and enforcer badges, plus he shoots free throws pretty well for a center. Rebounding, defense, and blocking are all solid.

Brandon Rush (Jazz, forward) -- Even though he's got no worthwhile badges and a long, funky shot release, this guy is the most consistent spot-up shooter on my team right now. His three-ball rating is just 83, but I'm probably shooting about 50% for my career with him. He even played decent defense against Carmelo Anthony in the "Chuckers" solo challenge. And he hit the go-ahead three for me with six seconds left in the game.

Omri Casspi (Rockets, forward) -- I've been using "Cashpi" as my stretch power forward in the 4-out, 1-in offense, and he plays very well in that role. Despite only a 78 three-point rating, he seems to make about 40% from the outside if he can get his feet set. His release is quick and easy to learn. He's even decent on the glass and defending inside -- he held his own against David West in the "Inked Up" solo challenge. Just don't let Casspi get fouled, because he has a 54 free-throw rating.

Lou Williams, really easy release and great shooter. I was able to pick him up for a steal at 850 MT on the auction house.

Also a great silver player for me is Brandon Jennings...I've been able to upgrade two of his badges to gold but still he is very good in the open floor and has a great mid range game. I run plays (Spurs playbook) which might come to haunt me towards the tail end of domination mode but so far when the plays work and he ends up being open, he's money.
