Convert VC to MT coins? Also: Packs vs AH?

Can I use my spare VC to buy MT, or to buy players on the Auction House?

Related question: Is it ever a good idea to buy packs as opposed to using the Auction House?

And another: If you do buy packs, is it better to buy 3 of the cheap ones, or one of the expensive ones?

As far as I know, you can't convert VC to MT. The only thing you can do with VC in MyTeam is buy packs, which really, are more expensive than if you just used MT points.

I buy packs rather often. The auction house to me is where you make a profit (sadly haven't had the fortune others have had who have MT points in the hundred thousands though) and if you want a sure thing with a certain player or to complete a collection. If you're just wanting to add players in general, go with packs. I pulled about 3 Lavigne's from either the 3000 MT or 1000 MT packs and ended up flipping them for at least 1000 more if not more while still being able to keep one for myself.

Personally, I do buy 3 cheap ones over the most expensive but I'm fine if I'm adding to my collection and end up with a bronze. If you want a sure thing for a silver/gold, go for the expensive one. I did pull a gold Pierce out of the cheap ones but it's rare.

Blue packs are probably the best to use VC on.

I didn't have much luck with the most expansive pack. So I had decided to go for the cheaper ones (especially after seing a video on youtube where a guys ends up with Derrick Rose and Kobe Bryant from the cheap packs)

Anyhow, here is how it went:

1st pack cheap: Drummond (gold)
2nd pack cheap: Oladipo (silver)
3nd pack cheap: KD

I was freaking out!

From then on, I only went with the cheap packs... but for the life of me, I can't get a gold player anymore in these:

4th - 50th cheap pack: Mostly bronze players and a few silver.

Funny things is: after those 50 crappy packs, I've told myself.. I have to switch to the expensive pack:

1st pack: Kobe Bryant.

Probably the cheapest if they got mostly bronze players.

I wasted 70k vc on the most expensive packs and i got absolute crap, thaddeus young, jason richardson, and some other worthless silvers and bronzes. I'm not buying any more packs. Unless possibly if there'll be historic packs in the future.

Got Kawhi and Boogie in back to back green packs, then like 20 bronzes in a row, I think this is intended lol.

I bought three green packs today on a whim (hardly ever buy them). I got (3) Cameron Bairstows?!? I'm fine with getting bronzes, but a little randomness would have done wonders for my morale.
