Throwback Thursday Series 1?

Just found a section in collections called "Throwback Thursday Series 1"

Contains five cards it looks like. Those cards are:

Dwayne Wade
Amar'e Stoudemire
Deron Williams
Elton Brand
Andrei Kirilenko.

I have absolutely no idea if these are the "legends" that are supposed to come out to day. I was just looking to put some consumable cards on some of my players, and this category came up in collections.

So I'm too lazy to put this back up at the top, but the actual section in the Collections is called Gems Of The Game, but it looks like the ThrowBack Thursday Series One is just a subsection of Gems of the Game. So I'm expecting the see a good amount of throwback cards.

Foolishly bought like 12 packs...nothing. Better off waiting for the auctions.

Bought 2 packs, got Joakim Noah and Roy Hibbert.

Gotta sell em off and then try again unless a D Will shows up for auction.
Gonna try and get D Will and Amar'e.

So...these packs DON'T have Legends? Just these Onyx versions of guys I could care less about?

Not really what I was looking for...

It doesn't look like it. Just onyx players

The only one I'm interested in is Amar'e, and only if it's his Phoenix version. Because he was one of my favorite Suns players. Besides that, these are kind of a waste. I'm just gonna wait and see how much he goes for on the auction house.

EDIT: Just saw the Amar'e on twitter, it is his 07 08 version from phoenix. Now I kind of have to get him

Yeah...total waste. I would've been better off buying the VIP or All Access packs.

I didn't play 2K14 on next gen or PS3...when do the Legends start to show up in packs? The last i played was 2K13 on PS3...and you could get Legends from day 1 in packs...even if they happened to be Jim King.

This really makes the mode STALE for me. When will I ever get to use Bronze historic players? It seems like by the time they come out...I'll have no need for them in RTTP or Challenges or Domination.

More players definitely adds variety to the game. I still don't understand why there's no access to these historic players earlier....just like I don't understand why Free Agents aren't in MyTeam...and why EuroLeague players aren't in it either.

Oops didn't see this thread, this is kind of a disappointment except for Amar'e. Definitely not worth the price of the packs.

Nobody will use these players except for maybe Amare. He already sold for 120k on the auction, but only has two badges--screen outlet and hustle points.
