Diamond Iverson on the Horizon

Sitting 16 shy of 1000 for Diamond Harden ... I knew once I get up this high it would be hard to find cards to get over the hump , but wow , Didn't think this hard lol.

I still have 4 jerseys I need , and then I'll have all the non player cards (logos coachs playbooks etc past n present)

Only about 15 Emeralds I don't have

maybe a hand full of stragglers from the current rosters that I had sold a while back and didn't see the point of buying at high prices to sit the bench (Kobe Curry etc)

So it looks like they put a real emphasis on the Historic Players collections to get to the GOAT.

I'll keep you posted on the quest ... but Harden should be coming home today

from 1k to 1.25k is like going from 200-900 tbh

In terms of costs and finding cards at good prices.

Glad I'm not a crazy AI fan so I'm not going for him anymore, stopped at diamond Harden. But it would be a sweet card/ milestone to hit.

Good luck on getting to 1265. I got Lilliard and Harden in the same day. There are plenty of lowly players that go for 1k and under. I used them to fill in the ranks once I bought up all the jerseys, logos, coaches, arenas and playbooks. I just need to rebuy Gold Durant to complete the 14-15 collection, then like Readysetdiego, I'm not going any further. I decided I really don't need Iverson. By the time I get enough cards to get him, I'll have more than enough guys to play that I won't need him. Especially since I've never been a fan of AI. I plan on selling off most of the collection and targeting the legends I want like Shaq, Penny, LJ, Kemp and hopefully Onyx Mourning when he's released. Maybe a Jordan to round out the collection. Who knows.

I'd hold onto the cards for 15-20 years to let them really go up in value before selling them online or at an expo.

Thats enough for 500, and probably get like half way to 750 from the MT reward.

I'm at 1122 right now without any of the emeralds (they're 54) and have some cheap Onyxes left to buy. It is getting really hard though, I don't know if I'll ever make it. The most cards I am missing right now are expensive Legends. Hopefully the new Legend packs will lower their prices and I'll get to 1265.

HARDEN HAS LANDED - 1000 Cards completed

I took the time and wrote down every single straggler to finish both the 14-15 collections, and the emeralds and scouted the cheap ruby/oynx's.

With my new road map in place I feel much better about the road ahead. It's still an uphill climb and I'm going to have to break into the bank a bit to do some historic collections, but I'm with Dexter, I think these packs may have just come at the right time and saved me some MT. (I'm doing this all with 0$ cash spent, all MT, from games and auction house flips)


Readysetgo - If you get to 500 (which I think you can probably do without seeing what you have in inventory) you'll make your bank back with the 50K reward and if you play it smart and take some time scouting cheap 500-600MT coin cards and lay out a plan you might be able to sneak out the 750card reward (or close) ... For me at the early stages it was all about 500-550 MT cards

Dexter - I feel ya bro, It seems impossible lol, but hard work pays off so it's just around the corner! You're about 110 cards closer than me! I agree tho , these packs today are going to make our lives easier!

I'm only 40 card away. I sold onyx Kobe and Big O when I ran out of MT at 1000 plus cards, I got 750k from them 2 cards. Got 200k left and it's not enough. It's a lot harder then I thought. Missing a a lot of the over priced silver and bronze historic cards. With the new pack the prices for these silver and bronze card will drop. Hopefully I have him by this wkd.

Congrats on D. Harden. He hasn't been that great for me, hope you'll like him better.
Hard work does pay off. I have lost some serious amount of sleep the last month or so to get to where I am. I have made txts and excels with a list of players, jerseys etc to keep track of what I have and what their price is since day 1, without those I would be lost.
To me those packs didn't exactly come at the right time, cause I have 10-20 expensive Legends in my collection right now that I could have bought with half the price I paid in 10 days. Also flipping cards seems more difficulty today since those packs dropped.

Scramz - I totally can relate , When I got lillard the other night I had roughly 700K , I'm at 1011 with 677k.


I know I'm going to have to do a few of the historic collections with the big piece player costing me 200-300 , so I'm trying to pick up as many 1,000-3,000MT players as I can before I go to the historic collection route. That's whats going to slow me down the most , doing one or 2 at a time then selling back the big piece for the extra MT.


Dexter - Ya , to be honest I'm not sure how much playing time Harden is going to get. I might play him when I have a lead just to jack up some 3's lol, but I love Sid the Kid for that defense so I plug him and George in back and forth all the time. Harden made the roster for now since he's my new shiny toy , but I don't see him sticking around , especially long enough to learn his release or master plays for him. I love pounding the post with The Dream and then with the guards like Oscar and MJ you can get good mid range shots whenever you want.

I have Diamond Harden and got up to 1.1k cards before selling off a few since I realized Diamond AI would never get playing time.


And Diamond Harden sucks considering he's a such a high reward card.

I'm at 1080 and trying to figure out how I m going to reach A.i., the last 180 is gonna be all historic or reward players minus emeralds. Going to be tough, I just wanna get a.i. so I can truly sell everything else I have .
