Sure, but if you just buy MJ you pay a lot more than the 50k you lose from the 15% tax...

MJ is unstoppable, the 75 midrange is truly underrated because he makes almost all of his midrange jumpers for me.
I didn't really look at his individual ratings

I would have guess his mid range was in the 90's

he is absolutely money from mid range

OBVIOUSLY, I didn't keep Gold MJ, but why would you? Simple, if you didn't have the coins to , or a desire to do the checklist card count for (lillard harden A.I.) because the Sapphire version is the same with exception for the pretty border and different picture.

So the "Point" as you ask , is to inform the guy who made this post. It sounds he felt the sapphire player rewards from historic team collections are better so I'm letting him know they're identical to the gold counterpart.

Happy Gaming!

I have around 250MT points and I really wanted Oscar Robertson for my RTTP team. He's 100k on PS4 and I used like 150k to complete the collection and get my sapphire version. I sold back the whole collection, including gold Oscar and only lost about 7k with the 15% tax. So basically I got Sapphire Oscar for 7k instead of his 100k gold version.

The versions are indeed the same but you save a whole lot of MT points by going for the Sapphire one.

Re: Best Sapphire Players

Sapphire ones also come with gold badges that saves you MT if you care about having badges.

He asked about the best sapphire cards in the game to do first

MJ is certainly awesome ....

so......he didn't really ask which sapphire cards were a lot better than their gold counter parts did he?
