Actual Money Spent ON VC

I see this has not been posted in awhile. I am just curious how many people are as crazy as me and have spent crazy amounts of money for VC. I have checked my receipts and since October I have spent 900 dollars.

And no, I don't live in my Mom's basement, I have a very well paying job, so I suppose I don't realize how quickly it adds up.

Anyone spent that much or am I the only idiot.

My amount is and will be 0$, cause I paid for the game and I really don´t like the pay to win or any other micro transactions and stuff like DLC.
That might be the reason for me to stop playing games in the near future.

And to make it clear, it is not about the money, it´s just the idea behind which I don´t like.
And no, I am not mean. It is just my mindset, if I don´t like it I won't pay for it.

0$, just by playing the game I got a decent enough team, don't want to put money in the game just to have those cards with special colours that are barely any better.

I agree. Buying VC is no different then buying a junk food snack or going to the bar. It's just temporary satisfaction.

I personally have spent 100-130ish dollars, however, I got the game for free for my birthday. A lot of it has also been put towards buying gear and animations for my my career dude.

I really wish 2K would do something with all the extra proceeds they make off VC transactions. The fact that you can pay $900 extra to a company and them to just pocket it. There are so many better ways to manage the money they make from them, peeps are recessed and 2K just raking millions of extras outside of sales and they just holding onto it. That don't seem right.

What kind of team do you have after spending that amount of cash?

I've spent $20. I spent that on packs, got Onyx Dirk, sold that for 350k and spent some time trading. I also traded a large amount of my excess FUT coins for MT.

I haven't spent much on 2K this year but I have spent a decent amount of money on FIFA Ultimate Team.

My total is $40 or $50....

Not all of it went to MyTeam. But all of it was spent within the first couple days of owning the game. After that, I just played the Auction House for MT...or if I ran low, I just sold some cards.

I'm not into the "quest" to collect every card...or caught up in all of these nonsense Sapphire/Ruby/Diamond cards. For me, it's all about putting together a team of players I like and that mesh well together.

I'm not into all that other stuff, but that's just me.

I think with it all added up, it comes out to around $500 for me. A ton of that was in the beginning buying TBT packs and then 50/50 packs when they hit. I had a lot of extra income come my way not too long ago, and I was just going to waste it on something else frivolous anyway. Looking back, I think I would have done it smarter. I wasted way too much on the wrong packs when I could have been working the Auction House. Live and learn. I still have a team that is 90% the team I want. Live and learn.

My starters are Onyx Oscar, Ruby Kobe, Gold Durant, Gold Lebron, Emerald Anthony Davis. Bench has Ruby Payton, Gold Love, Emerald Mikan, Gold Penny, Gold Mullin, Gold Curry, Gold Larry Johnson.

I really still don't like my team. Trust me, I am not a world beater by any means.

I probably spent around 50.00 while playing the PS4 version. I've spent around 170.00 so far while playing the X1 version. I spent 50.00 of that today to try to get Ruby Magic or Payton(have all of the other ones added for that pack) but didn't get them.


I did manage to get 40k off the auction house with the duplicate players I got from those packs though. I only had like 1k MT points. I'm also trying to complete the 14/15 NBA collections. So while I didn't get Magic or Payton those packs still helped.

Do you have a lot of MT left? I would suggest for some cheap upgrades, Sapphire Hakeem as an upgrade for your center (buy the gold plus the collection and sell it back) and do the same thing for Diamond Durant. It shouldn't cost you too much for those two once you sell all the players back.

Onyx Oscar is probably close to the best PG in the game, Ruby Kobe is top 2-3 guard. You can't beat LeBron at SF/PF. With the upgrades, that should be fine for a starting lineup.

I dont know but I spent $5 transactions a bunch of times. Two $50 transactions. A couple $10 transactions. I spent a lil bit last year too, but would only buy when on sale. I am sure I have spent close to $200. and thats absurd, but I just cant help it sometimes because even though I could care less about having every player in the game, there are some that I do want. like T-Mac.
