Ronnie2k tweeted it out this morning that a code was coming in the next few hours. And the reason they tweet codes is to get their follower and RT count up. It's all a marketing ploy.

A question….I put the code in probably 2 minutes after it was tweeted, and got the "invalid code" message. Repeated about 5 times, eventually got the "expired code" message.

Is that common?

hashtag is part of the code.
2 minutes is too late for pink diamond codes anyway.
But usually you get the expired code message even 1 second after they expired.
So maybe just typed it wrong?

I think this code was easy to get because not many people actually knew it was coming from Shaq.

ok, I didnt know about this...dont really have time to keep up with it...

do I HAVE to follow twitter for the codes or will it send a notification through the MY2K app? I havent played the app much this year like I did last year because it had some crap issues going on. what is the best way to get notified? if it is twitter then I will set it so I can get notified the next time. I dont do twitter but I want to try some of these cards....like Shaq in particular.

You absolutely need twitter that's where they release the code, not in-app. I made a twitter account for this and enabled mobile notifications for everybody relevant. I have twitter muted on my phone unless I know that a code's coming up that day.

Here is a tip to get locker codes on ur cpu use google chrome go to apps and get tweetdeck it loads twitter messages automatically with no delay
