Has anyone really exploited the MT glitch of multi-accounts?

So this is sometihng that goes on and on in my head. Everyone in this forum seems to be able to afford 500K-1mm players. Shake4ndBake video had thousands of views and everyone in this forum knows what it refers too. Yet I have not yet seen anyone admitting that they exploitted it. Same applies on buying packs. Only a small minority buys packs. Almost everyone seems that they flip cards over the Market and create huge amounts of MT, so they can buy-sell 500K players over and over having no concerns of such minor things as 15% Tax loss etc.
Since noone was exploitting this, why do you think 2k patched the issue?

Thousands of people exploited it and a lot of them had their accounts reset.

I've never heard of "shake and bake" as a youtuber. I approve of the name though, awesome move. I knew nothing about the glitches until people on here were talking about it being patched.

Oh and I play the market/AH. But I've also opened about a 500,000 VC worth of packs. I've only bought 50/60 dollars worth of VC (all star sale). The rest I earned through playing MyGM and Career mode.

How come your team is so awful? Do you not know how to play the game?

Believe it or not, you can make tons of MT just by flipping cards. I bought Yao 9 days ago and I was broke after that. Today I have around 250k and I already bought a couple of players for my collection during the last days. When you are grinding the AH 24/7 you can make at least 1 million MT a month without any problems.

The video had tens of thousands of views so i'd bet most of the people who saw the video done it at least once, and nobody actually got their account reset for that as far as im aware, if they reset one they'd have to have reset everybody and since a ton of people done it, it would just be a bad decision isolating a large majority of the community, since most aren't going to start MyTeam over on another account.

as far how people get their MT now, its pretty much gotten by sniping cards for profit or you have guys like Shake4ndBake that just buy MT from people.

I don't quite feel that a team with Sapph Oscar Robertson, Sapph Wall,
Sapph Mullin, Ruby Kobe, Sapph PG13, LBJ,Sapph Dominique,Diamond Durant, Carmelo, Hakeem and Wilt is awful to be honest. It is what the original collection plus domination and some lucky pack pulls can cover. If you think it is awful you have a weird knowledge of basketball. If one thing I would call this team superstacked. Now I could know how to play the game without even entering the AH. The game is a basketball game. The stock-market thing is a sideproject. What the hell are you talking about? You can know how to play the game without even playing myteam.... You are in denial

Check hoopsnation. People did have their accounts reset/money taken off them. (Or was that for the bronze player exploit where they drove up the prices?)

Mike to be honest I don't know why you get so sentimental about it. The question of this thread is specific, is there ANYONE that has exploited this glitch? As far as I know from my experience in OS noone has ever glitched, and they get their MT by playing the market. If this is the case, maybe we should ask for the 25K collections to return...

How many people are active on here? 10? 20? There is millions of people playing this game. Most of the people on here are hardcore sim gamers. You need to remember that a million people could do this glitch and none of them could be on here.

How many people are active on here? 10? 20? There is millions of people playing this game. Most of the people on here are hardcore sim gamers. You need to remember that a million people could do this glitch and none of them could be on here.

You can hardly call hardcore sim a player that plays a mode with Pind Diamond Carmelo with 95 speed and Bill Russell as a 13th player in the bench

I created this thread and basically yes. Because I see that there are tons of 500K+ transactions for onyx players etc, that in my oppinion are produced mostly by having previously exploited the glitch. Since no one here says that they didn't do it there can be only two options
a) most of us are just lying,
b) 2k messed up with patching a thing that was not exploitted that much

but to answer your question i'd say most here done it at least once but just would rather not admit it.

The benches are too stacked they need to restrict them, 7th man onwards should be silver only.

And playing with PD cards doesn't mean you're not playing sim. If you're using them realistically and simulating real basketball as best you can then it's sim.

Again, there's probably a couple people on here that have used the glitch. But there's millions of people playing 2k and about 20 people on here discussing myteam. Just because we don't use it doesn't mean it wasn't happening. I've probably spent about 8 hours a week on average playing this game, it's been out for 6 months which is 24 weeks, which makes just under 200 hours game time. It's more than likely you could make a few million MT in that time. I know I have.

Also Ezekial people did have their account reset. I've seen them say as much on other forums.

People got banned from the AH, but that was for stuff much earlier in the game, had nothing to do with the collection thing, if some people got reset for doing Shakes method then they were very, very unlucky, because i definitely didn't see any complain that they got reset from that.
