Onyx Kobe users: how can you stand him?

I've been saving up for Onyx Kobe and I'm sitting on 275K. I have some apprehension about picking him up now after reading this thread. Is he really that hard to use or should I spend my cash somewhere else?

I picked up Onyx Mamba with the locker code a few days ago. If you're wide open getting the timing wrong isn't an issue as shots are will go in more often the not in anyway. However, his release is tricky indeed. He can drive, create his own shot with ease and is a beast on the defensive end. An alternative could be the new Ruby dunking Drexler, easy release and great offensively.

Ruby Frobe is money, I picked him up to be my backup for 89 Jordan. I went 5-5 in a game from 3 last night with him

I ended up snagging him for 250k yesterday and played 8 games with him. As everyone has mentioned his release is horrible. Luckily I bought him right so I can sell back for at least what I got him for including tax. Time to try Larry legend.
