Great, 2k messes up the years with the players again. They put out 94-95 David Robinson, when his previous year was one of the best seasons of all time.

Same with Larry Nance too!

Are these Throwback Packs more about accolades rather than their best season? If that's the case it's understandable.

Yes but my point is, David Robinsons best year was in 93-94. They gave him the MVP the next year to make up for not giving him it the prior year. The same thing happened with Malone and Jordan.

94- 29.8 ppg 10.7 rpg 4.8 apg 1.7 spg 3.3 blks 30.7 PER


95- 27.6 ppg 10.8 rpg 2.9 apg 1.7 spg 3.2 blks 29.1 PER

And let me say one thing, I think a 96 rating for him is still underrated. So Lebron and Jordan are the only players to get 99 ratings? I'm not saying Robinson(or other players for that matter) deserves to be a 99 every season, but his peak season was just as good as Lebrons or Jordans peak. That goes for others like hakeem, shaq, etc.

Surprising that they're not releasing any of the most-anticipated cards like Wilt. Feels like everybody who hasn't stopped playing MT already is about to and I doubt that those cards are going to compel anybody to start up the game and play. Haven't seen the Onyx Admiral card yet, but it will likely not be better than the best existing 5s.

The reason the only 99 players are jordan lebron and kobe is to brainwash people and stuff. One of the proofs is david robinson now, larry bird and magic being a 98 and onyx wilt is going to be a 96.

So the overall rating is based on all the individual skill ratings. I haven't looked at his Onyx card but what ratings would you raise on the card to make him a 99. Where is he underrated?

So interesting. I've built one of the best MyTeams and I've been parking with a group of friends all week and my motivation to get back to it is surprisingly low, kind of unfortunate. With RTTP a frustration and lack of exciting content, I don't know what I'll do.

i think the reason bird n magic aren't 99 is because of the athlete ratings lebron jordan n onyx kobe are 99 because of that. If bird just had a 79 speed quickness n lateral quickness he would be 99 to and that 86 magic if he had a 85 3pt rating he would be 99 too.
