prices are players transferring MT to another account. There are some I see though where the auction just expires and nobody buys it. Like last night someone was selling a coach card for nearly 3 million MT. Was the player really expecting somebody to buy it or did they have a deal setup with somebody else that didn't go through? I'd hope the latter.

Mostly transfers from other farming accounts

But also there are many sites that you can pay with real money to buy MT

Another reason could be bets. Throw X mt down on a game, winner posts a cheap card for the wagered amount and the loser buys it.

But yeah, my money is on people farming.
