I know, and I'm sure it's quite annoying. BUT, I call it the game tax. One of the only ways that I can get a nice chance sometimes. With other players being able to hit 3s heavily contested sometimes, while I can't make wide open 2s or layups. I have certain things that I do to even out my chances a bit. It's in the game, so I take advantage. Hate it or like it. Got to do what I;ve got to do.

That's a poor way of justifying cheesing.

The only times you should try and take a charge is

1) The person turbos at either sideline and it trying to get to the baseline. Just stop his B line to the baseline and its a free turnover.

2) The guy is charging baseline nonstop, in which case its a free turnover and you're fighting cheese with cheese.

3) You're dead on a fast break and he's running straight at you

But if you constantly do what you do, then you are just handicapping yourself on defense.

It damn shame you're winning the game playing that type of defense. 90% of the ppl that play this game are trash. It's was a phantom foul but you deserve it for playing that way.
