You can always ISO and ask manually for one.
I do it all the time

Ya I do that too, but I like the structure of a predetermined play, and I know where everyone is going to be every time, no random cuts from the corner when I want them to stay on the perimeter and stuff like that. Plus, there are some nice double screen plays that bring defenders way out of position that you just don't get with manual pick and rolls

You can call manual double screens and if you learn the spacing of your offense and set it to space the floor you won't get any cuts. But if you plan to run plays like 63 fist, well you can't do that manually.

Re: Plays for Historic Players

The beauty of the freelance offense is that you're always in a structure set and player react to the actions made by you of the defense depending on your settings. Your O is on motion cut by default so make sure that the first thing you adjust. On Space The Floor you won't get any random cuts. Players would only cut if you get to close to them.
Manual PnRs out of the 4out 1in & Pace and Space are as good as any set plays.

I agree. I hardly run plays anymore since I can get the same results from a Freelance offense and relying on plays means that you're lost in RTTP away games due to the playbook glitch.
