Difference between Ruby and Sapphire version of Hakeem and Bill Rusell?

Would like to get an all-around C-PF and was thinking about those 2 monsters: Bill Russell or Hakeem Olajuwon.

Which one would you get?
Shall I complete their collections to get the Sapphire or just buy the Ruby one?

Any other better option for that price range?

The sappphire and ruby hakeem are identical.

The sapphire bill russel is a tiny bit worse than the ruby stats wise, but it has more gold badges.

Keep in mind though that the sapphires are much cheaper due to being able to sell back the players from the collection.

Regular Sapphire Hakeem is the smartest choice, cheapest option awesome all-around C. Russel is better on D but not so great as scorer.
Ruby Ewing could be an option, I haven't tested him but his gold card is already great on D & O and maybe the new Rubies of the Admiral and Duncan.

Thanks all for your help, gong to get Sapphire Bill Russell first as I need that extra D, next target will be Hakeem

If you need extra D, I would get Sapph Wilt. His extra height helps a lot

If you need extra defense just pick up Ruby Mutombo. He's the 2nd best defensive C in the game, only Onyx Wilt is better. He locks the paint down, grabs every board and is a better finisher than some of the elite Cs, surprisingly.
