Rereleasing Ruby Packs

2k are rereleasing a ruby pack this Friday but first they're putting up a poll. This is the 3rd time they're doing this but this time All Stars Ruby pack will be included. The All Stars rubies will most likely win. If you have any of the expensive ones you might want to sell them now before their value drop. With the VC sell and all I see these cards prices cashing. Just a heads up.

Thank goodness they're finally including the all star packs in the vote. Combined with the VC sale this could cause a bigger market crash than the dunker packs.

How much are ruby packs worth VC wise? Also got 35K saved up so hopefully I can get ruby Lillard, ruby Kobe, or Ruby LA.

Its usually around 6k Mt and 9k vc

Thank goodness they're finally including the all star packs in the vote. Combined with the VC sale this could cause a bigger market crash than the dunker packs.

There aint no discount on PS4 at the moment....

35K VC? That's 3 packs worth of VC. Even if you have 350K, I don't think you will get any one of those player ... you probably will end with a bunch of useless bronze and silver. Better to buy the cheapest pack and sell those content for MT, then get the player you want in AH that way ...

I understand the whole cheaper packs have better output to input ratios, but if you have one solid pull out of a ruby pack you're gonna be pretty rich. Obviously players like Butler, Millsap, and Teague and guys won't, but it would take well over 100 green packs to match up with Harden, KD, or Lebron. You're just lucky or you aren't.

However, as you said, the best way to get a specific player is through the auction house.

Ruby Magic was my best pull all year. I'll never forget my reaction, I was yelling like Dr. Valentine when his head was on fire in Hitman Absolution.

I have opened 1.4 mill VC on packs and 300k mt and my best pull was a ruby griffin that is only like 50K. i have had horrible luck. Dont expect much

Wait ... I guess you are talking about Rudy version of those ... well yes, it's gonna take probably 100 packs to earn enough for those ... but then since 1 green pack is about 1/5 of 1 Ruby pack, paying for 100 packs of green is equal to paying for 20 packs of Ruby ... I personally have opened wait more than 20 packs of Ruby (and from what I've seen here and on Twitter) and the best I got was Ruby All Star Bosh. I guess I just lost hope on these packs due to my bad luck as you've suggested ...

Yeah, I was talking about the rubies I should've clarified that. They definitely nerfed the drop rates of the ruby packs since the dimers, because I've opened close to 40 packs off free VC since then and have landed no rubies. I think 2k has some sort of code built in that lowers the drop rates when mass quantities of packs are being purchased. I've only landed one ruby with dimer Isiah Thomas, and I don't even like his pink diamond with ridiculous stats. I bet after the finals when a lot of people stop playing the drop rates will go up for the onyx packs and such.

Me too, one of my personal favorites + Dr. Valentine is the black researcher in the 12th mission, "Death Factory". One of the sig kills you coud pull off is spiking the baldness cure with fire that he unintentionally ends up putting on his head.
