Losing games due to 2k connection issues

I would probably consider ok to happen once in a while

But how can someone deal with this?

I already lost more games than possible to advance

Maybe I will get even relegated without even playing

So many wasted hours and frustration
I am on PS4

Did this happen on Sunday, Monday, or Today? Ronnie claimed they fixed it, but I've see lots of people saying it still happens.

Two of the last three Road to the Playoffs games I've been ahead when the other guy quit and I somehow ended up with a loss:

I think I'm done playing RTTP until they fix this stuff, because once you get into the higher seeds, you don't have much margin for error, and you can't afford to lose many games if you want to keep advancing up the seeds. I should be 6-1 right now and sure to advance to the next seed, but instead I'm 4-3 and will have to work hard to get to seed 2.

I got demoted down to the 2nd seed after back to back disconnects where the game wouldn't even start. The funny thing is I attempted to play both games hours apart. I was going to open a ticket on 2k support but I said forget it, they know how crappy their severs are.

This is why i am not playing rttp right now. I am going to work on the gauntlet bc losses dont matter as much. This is prettying effing ridiculous. The amount of money that they make on this game and they cant get better servers. That is an absolute joke. The servers for MUT and HUT are way better. I dont know about FUT but they probably are. I dont think 2k cares though. they are laughing all the way to the bank

2K is losing his face. This release is simply a joke - whether you look at all the technological issues or at their new marching root with bad rewards, useless packs and senseless challenges. I'm just going to sell my collection and play fallout4...if they don't fix this game in multiple ways someone will be happy to receive my MT.

We've had this problem on PC since day 1. Too bad that they did not only not fix it but that it's spread to other platforms, too. As a PC user this gives me some hope that they might do something about it, though.

Hopefully patch 3 can fix these issues. It sucks when you play basically the whole game and the server disconnects you. Sucks you lose mt and contracts for a technical issue on their end.

They have been having issues for years and they do nothing about it. I remember when gta online came out a while back they were having a ton of issues they gave everyone 500k coins. 2k would never imagine giving away anything. They are a terrible company but they r like my crack dealer and i cant quit playing

Besides RTTP, the gauntlet mode has the same problem! After your opponent quits, you'll get a lose!

I started playing The Gauntlet mode this week since I'm at the point in RTTP where there's no absolutely margin for server errors, and what do you know, it only took 6 Gauntlet games before I encountered a quitter that somehow gave me a loss:

I'd be interested to know if PS4 people are still seeing these false losses registering after patch 3. Surely 2K fixed this with their latest patch given how widespread the issue is.

At least the consoles has no cheat engine users...

There was a guy on PC camping RttP for two days straight, giving everyone he met fake losses... He toys around in the 1st quarter, jacking up full court shots etc. and as soon as the quarter ends, he pauses the game and gives you a "this game will not count" error, followed by "arbitration taking too long" message and you get a loss.

I was in the 1st seed, 7-0. Then met this guy and got a loss. The next day, I searched for another game and met him again, 15 hours after the first game. The same exact thing happened and I got another loss... 7-2... One more loss and I repeat the seed, or worse... go back to seed 2... Imagine the frustration.

I made two tickets to 2k sports. One after each loss. All they wrote back was, "we're working on a solution. In the meantime why don't you write about it in forums too?"

I mean this is too much... We had the same issues in 2k15... How can they not fix it? Why don't we have CE abusers in other games?

Well, at least my story had a happy ending. I kept searching late at night yesterday and thankfully dodged that camper somehow, found decent opponents, got my 3 wins and beat the 1st seed. But I am sure not everyone was as lucky as I was in the last few days and that cheater ruined the game for so many people.

2k has to do something about it.
