Playing against the same players all the time

So, I get matched against same guys over and over again

I mean literally more than half of my games are against players that I have played during the seed

Last seed I got matched against the same guy 4 times ( I lost all 4)

Are there fewer people playing the game vs 2k15 (I never had this issue) or what is the driver behind this?

Happens to me in the Gauntlet. Played this dude who always used Harden. I'm guessing he just plays one match and quit the series just to use him.

He would still get the wins. The only thing he misses is the draws on the board.

Is there any region lock or something? I don't know

In the RTTP I hope it is due to the facts that are still not many players in the unrestricted seeds? 2k15 was my first nba2k, i bought it in November but I never had a similar issue.

It is tiring though

Imagine facing the same guy 3-4 times per seed especially if he is a cheeser.

As a PC player I don't really know it any other way. Haven't even been able to find a match in the unrestricted seeds yet.

Last night I was playing for my final win to get out of Qualifying round, got a match in surprisingly short time, and just about 30 seconds into the game, the opponent quit on me. I expected the CheatEngine rope-a-dope giving me the loss, even though he quit after I went up 2-0 but, no...got the win.

So then I immediately start my first game in Seed 8 and, I swear, get matched up with the same guy who just quit on me in Seed Q. This time we played the whole game. I'm guessing he maybe had the same controller issue I get when I don't power on controller before game launch, because I was blowing him out pretty much from the start and he was never close from halftime on. But he stuck it out, so props to him.

Anyway: thought it is interesting that, if my memory was correct, that 2K has Seed 8 and Qualifying Seed intermingled, in terms of player pool. Makes sense, given that restrictions are the same.

Yes, it's quite annoying. I remember playing the same guy 3 times in one 3 hour session.
