Re: Domination points

I am now in the Warriors one. I just can't seem to get the 800. I cannot get any steals at all. I play hcpress all game long. It seems I start good and then just fall off. I hit a lot of cold spots throughout the game.

Then what is the .50 multiplier for Rookie?

By this logic you're saying you earn double MT for HOF difficulty and that is not how the multiplier works. You're also suggesting I would lose MT for playing on Rookie? Because your math says .50 x 840 = 420 so why would I lose MT?

All-star is 1.25 and Superstar is 1.50

Multipliers exist in other games and this is not how they work - you don't literally multiply your score by the multiplier.

The counting system is not working appropriately.

I think when you think you missed about 100 MT, that's like because you haven't hit the 10 FT to get those % points.
The MT score shows my numbers there for us all to see.

Re: Domination points

Just calculated and I noticed I didn't get any boost for beating the Warriors by 20+. Got 755. -_-

harryl is correct; that's what a multiplier is. It's also how it works in this game mode. Pro is the default difficulty so the multiplier is 1. You would lose MT for playing on Rookie but there is no way to play on rookie.

Harryl, I apologize for arguing with you. It was my own fault for misinterpreting the system based on mixed information I gathered from a past 2k.

I confirmed various payouts in My Career and was able to see how the system works. I do indeed lose money on Rookie. They also use the multiplier on your performance then add that sum to your salary to get the grand total.
