Re: Diamond Steve Nash

Is this Steve Nash card only in the BM for a limited time? I noticed in the collection there is also a Magic, Bird, and few others under the same section. Is it possible to obtain all of these or are they each just going to be limited to whoever gets into the BM during a certain amount of time..?

Re: Diamond Steve Nash

Until 2K fixes Diamond Steve Nash's badges and hot zones, he just doesn't seem worth 750,000 MT when Diamond Stockton is free, Dynamic Curry costs half as much, and Throwback Nash is still a pretty darn good PG for 7,500 MT.

Plus he has to compete with other free PGs like Kidd, Penny, and Cousy, who are all pretty good in their own right.

Kidd isn't as good of a shooter, but he's just as good at everything else you need from a PG, and he actually has a pretty reliable jump shot if you just use his hot zones appropriately. I probably make between 50% to 60% of my jumpers with Kidd in RTTP.

So I'm content with Kidd as my starting PG until I get Diamond Stockton (still 300 cards away).

How is Diamond stockton free? It would take several millions of MT to get the 2300 cards or whatever amount it is to get him and considering 2k barely gave us any ways to make mt, stockton is almost impossible without spending thousands on VC/MT. Diamond Nash is actually way cheaper then gathering millions of MT to get Stockton. But I do agree Nash is not worth it with other decent pgs like Kidd, Curry, Kyrie to contend with.

it depends on your methods. it doesnt take millions of MT. nor do you have to buy tons of VC. jyoung says he is 300 cards away, not sure how much he spent. I spent $2.99 on VC so far....and I am 450 cards away. At the rate I am going, I should have him in about 2-3 weeks. I just make money off the AH and play a lot of Gauntlet, so I probably collect about 15-20 new cards per day on the avg. I was interested in Nash but think I will pass though. I'd rather get J.R. or Jamal because at least I can sell them and make MT off of them, plus they play really well.

Once you reach the final collector level and unlock Diamond Jordan you can sell off all of your cards and make your MT back.

If you bought your cards wisely along the way, then you'll actually be making an MT profit on every single one you sell back.

That is why I have been patient with the collector rewards and have only bought cards when I can get them for under market value.

exactly. out of 1800 plus cards I dont think I ever paid market value for any player cards. the only cards I paid market value for was jerseys. you can also sell cards now and buy back when value decreases.

Re: Diamond Steve Nash

I was thinking Nash was 600k instead of 750k. Eh 600k is bad enough...I'll never pay 750k for him. Maybe if I lucked out and got one of the TBT diamond cards(I could get a lot of MT out of those) but that will never happen. I don't think I've even had an amethyst(from packs) since the opening month when I got 3 from the packs. I don't buy MT so it takes a decent grind to get that high.
