With 96k mt who should I pick up?

I'm deciding between Money Mitch (90k), Rick Barry (65k), and David Thompson (48k).

My starting LU: Curry, Klay, Carmelo (Amethyst), Anthony Davis, DPOY Dwight.

I'm trying to get rid of Melo so theoretically the SG and SF positions are what I want to upgrade. I know that Mitch is a great shooter, but Thompson's speed and dunk/finishing abilities look like a slightly worse version of DPOY MJ that can shoot the occasional 3. And then there's Barry, who just looks awesome.

Who do you guys think I should go for?

Save for when moment zack or Aaron Gordon lol, they gonna be behind boost and sure they speed would be high so need buying no slow sg/sf now

IMO Mitch is the better of three. On paper Barry looks good but his shot animation is a bit slow and his dribble animations are horrible.
A slasher makes a lot of sense for your LU. Thompson can work for you. Just note his dunk tendencies are set to 0.
In freestyle he doesn't dunks with the shot button, you have to use the shot stick to dunk. Plus he lay oops up. They may or may not fix his dunk ten
I only played 1 game him and didn't really like him. I feel they are better options for least MT too.

At the end of the day we all have our preference. Try them out at the gauntlet.

Thats the OP lineup not mines lol. Gervin is a good option for him tho. I'm waiting for the right price to pick him up. I'm going to play him at the 2.

Please please don't get Rick Barry. He's got good looking stats, but he is so trash on the court. I'd definitely go for ROTY MJ. Top 5 finisher in the game, great defender, tons of badges and hot zones, and has a great release. I doubt you'll find another player that will improve every aspect of your team for that cheap.

And yeah Cow, I'm avoiding Barry. I keep hearing that his stats don't translate into actual gameplay.

As of now I'm leaning towards Thompson. I had gold MJ and loved him, but sold him a while back. Thompson seems like the same MJ but with better shooting and slightly better finishing, and just worse on D. I can deal with that since I have Howard and AD roaming the paint.

Thompson is also a lot cheaper than Mitch, who I feel like is just a small-medium upgrade over Klay.

Not sure if you mean the moments one by "Gold MJ", but that one is total trash haha. He's terrible compared to the ROTY one. Just my two cents haha.

I was thinking about making a thread about that DPOY Dwight the other day, but I ended up spending all my cash on CP3. Is he the animal that his stats suggest? Both my starting bigs were free and I've avoided spending anything on them so far as I do mostly guard play stuff, but he looks sooo good.

Haha yes I meant ROTY MJ, moments one is trash now once you get a good team.

DPOY Howard is amazing if he fits into your play style. For me, I love running in transition and pick and roll. And because of that, he is my favorite player on my team.

On defense the dude is a beast, gets almost all of the rebounds assuming he is semi-close to the hoop, and I have bronze badges on him still. Also extremely easy to get User blocks with him, although with the computer he can still get 1 or 2 a game.

Offensively he is great for me. His post control and hook make that a viable threat a few times per game, and if you add a shoe to his hook and make it 99, he won't miss it ever. With his strength (98 I think) too he can back down almost anyone. His speed makes him an amazing P&R player, and I run the Warriors offense, so he helps get people open all day. He blows by everyone and his dunks are awesome (although occasionally he'll do a silly dunk where he'll go fancy and can get blocked).

Overall I love him and I got him for 144k somehow. His shooting sucks, but anything within 10 feet and he actually might hit a jumper. Passing can also be a problem, don't force anything with him. Worth every penny for me. Sometimes for fun in RTTP I'll let Dwight take the ball up, call an iso, and he can just sprint by the opponent's big man with ease and dunk lol.

I have no idea what platform are you on, on PC he is about 90k-ish, havent checked lately, sold one for 85k recently while flipping. Gervin is a great all around SF. He is a great slasher, can finish through contact, midrange is good, he does not really have a good 3p shot but he can hit them if he is wide open. Also a terrific rebounder at the SF position, and a pretty solid defender as well.

I picked up Barry today for 40k and i will try him out. He looks really good to me and he can play in the post and that is something i want and need. I have Lebron at the SF spot so i need a shooter since i have DPOY MJ as a starter as well so i need shooting. Otherwise, i would have played with Gervin. But i am planning to see if i can insert him into the lineup as well.

Yup, sounds like my guy haha. The main reason I use Whiteside and Porzingis is because of how fast they are and they're defense. Dwight would be one of my fastest players if I added him, and I'm sure CP3 would love another solid big to pair with haha.

I gave mine PLD, Pick Dodger, Deadeye, Corner Specialist, Dimer. Lob City Finisher and Transition Finisher were also tempting, but this build suits my style better.

Permanently, which is nice if you plan on keeping the player.
