How do I take the next step?

I would get a point guard who can play lockdown defense since Kyrie and Lillard are both bad at defending. I suggest buying Defensive Player of the Year Sidney Moncrief since he's so cheap. Give him the the +9 speed shoe and add the Dimer, Bruiser, and Pick & Roll Maestro/Posterizer badges and he will be a budget beast for you. Moncrief also has the closer badge so he's great to have on the floor in the fourth quarter.

Then I would also move Leonard to small forward to take advantage of his hot spots and corner specialist badge. And I would replace Griffin with Melo at the power forward so your opponents can't cheat over or double team you when you have two non-shooting bigs on the floor.

I agree with both the problem in PG and the Melo at 4 with a 4-1 offense, though in PG I would suggest Wall

So the consensus seems to be:

Do domination to improve mt n players

Also try and get the recommend cheap dpoy players

Get a more defensive pg, think I'm gonna go Wall

Move Melo to the 4 to give me more shooting options

It's hard doing it without the vc but I guess it's more of a challenge

Nothing much more to add, but you could use the NBA Mobile App to get daily VC for free. It's not much, but you can build up if you use it daily and grab a free pack after a while.
Anyway the only way making MT is sniping, playing the game doesn't reward you decently. 22k is something you can start working with. If you need help feel free to drop a PN.

the mobile app is much less rewarding this year than last year. last year you could make enough in 1 day....2 tops to get a pack. it definitely wouldn't take more than 3 days to get the most expensive pack. now it takes about a week to get the most expensive pack and it takes 2 maybe 3 days to get the cheapest one. I remember buying 3 or 4 VIP packs a week just off the free VC. they really got stingy on us this year. still, its free....so... after using app today I will have enough saved up to buy 3 Moments packs or 2 All Star packs. I was trying to save up to buy a box...but don't have the patience for that....that will take almost 2 weeks.

It is actually exaclty half of last year. Plus the mobile app has all the game as well that is totalling 0,5 GB fr a mobile device. I do not want to throw half my mob applications to get 100 VC per day.

I know it's not that much, but if you don't make a lot of MT it's definitely something you can make use of to help you get boosted (a little bit)

yeah, its terrible...but it isn't 100 VC a day..its more than that...lol. Quick games give you 500VC per day and daily bet gives you 100-250 per day. the card game gives you anywhere from 100-1500 in a day. Packs still same price tho. Haven't seen a pack sale in a while either. So to get a VIP or equivalent pack its gonna take about 3 days minimum if you are lucky. 4-5 days on the average.
