Just started playing this mode can I get some pointers

what's does "sink shots to unlock this level" mean does it mean shoot jumpers or is it something to do with the "board" and how do I get to keep players for my roster

And any other info would be appreciated

There are 1pt and 2pt cards on the pick board. When the "shot board" is full, you level up.

Do you have to complete level 10 to get a diamond? I got there but no prize, maybe bc I already won it in domination? Not even any good cards there since I pulled amare in level 9.

jesus, is anyone having fun playing this mode?! i used to play it last year just to kill time but ended up playing 500 games or so at the end.. but this year? it's awful... my opponents keep hitting impossible shots, run zig-zag, keep reaching in and i dont even want to say anything about the KI defense, it's horrible lol...

how do you guys used to play it now? maybe i just have to learn how to do it this year

Dig into the defensive settings thread in the main 2k forums for that aspect. Or SamPham's last 2 defensive settings videos for the short version.
For me, the main problem is motivation. Domination is just so incredibly boring...

nah i mean the defense in gauntlet/blacktop only dude... you cant do any settigns in blacktop, can you?

not a thing. only way is to keep switching between off ball and on ball but that gets tiring having to micromanage every possession like that.
