Anybody's controller randomly stop working ?

first happened in an online game and now just happened in a single player game. L1 and r1 stop working yet othe buttons work then othe stops stick doesn't work or shooting buttons don't work while other buttons do.....seems t happen in game only. At first I thought maybe my controller but seems like maybe a game issue?

Just tried s different controller and same thing happened. Never seen this until today ,already cost me a game. It starts working again after pausing the game for s minute..then a few min later happens again.....just random buttons stop working while left stick always works.

I experience the similar thing while playing MyTeam blacktop. My Analog stick to shoot wasn't responding while the button shots worked. Seems like it's a glitch

I'm in a single player domination game atm and it's happening on every possession.

Yes this use to happen to me in NBA 2k16 as well. I always thought it was weird and it wouldn't fix until I restarted my PS4. Then it started happening in NBA 2k17 as well. I then realized that it didn't fix when I rebooted my PS4. I never go into the controller settings so after I checked them out I realized that the pro stick was set to dribbling only. You can set it back to default while in game which fixes it until it changes randomly again.

Happened to me also. It did that for about a quarter, had to pause after a change of possession to get it to work again.

Happens to me all the time on Xbox one. All the buttons stop working except left analog. Sometimes a restart fixes it. But it resurfaces. Would reinstalling help? I have digital so I don't want to waste data if it isn't going to work.

The controller settings randomy change some reason, it changes your pro stick to dribble moves only, change pro stick to default to fix this.

One time i couldnt pass the ball unless i quick paused first atvthe start of the 3rd quarter. That was the worst game i played.

This is not what happens in my case. I checked that. I deleted and reinstalled. Hope that works.

I can recall this in some MTO games... icon passing stops working , cost me few turnovers which led to a lose.

On pc

My Bluetooth controller presses itself in nba 2k16 though the controller works in nba 2k18, wwe 2k15. I tried restarting but it didn,t work help me

I am having a problem with my xbox 360 controller on pc, everytime I play NBA 2k16 (any mode), the Y buton gets occupied by B. When I press Y for block or rebound, the player instead sets a screen, and in the menu, the Y does the B function (cancel or go back).
