New theme packs?

Noticed the "handles" packs expire in a couple hours. Is there going to be a new theme today? Was going to open a box of raps/hornets but if theres a theme today I will wait till later.

I don't know but I hope when the new theme packs arrive it will be much better than handles pack. You needed so much Mt ( or vc) to buy a single pack and the players were mediocre with 1-2 exceptions plus there were only perimeter players.

In addition better cards should be released as up until now the market is really inflated and 85 rated cards go for 50k

Well, looks like there's a Drummond in there, which could be nice. Imagine no DeAndre, who will have a Team USA version and maybe gets a special one in an "Erasers" pack.

The only other Center I'd expect in this pack would be Darryl Dawkins and he's not really going to be compelling, overall.

a boosted Blake Griffin is very possible and maybe could be used as a mobile center too.

Could work, but Blake's problem in serving as a Stretch 5 is his bad defense and what would be really bad rebounding for 5.

Even if the other team isn't playing a post-up center to abuse Blake, one wouldn't want to sacrifice the rim protection versus slashing attacks to the basket.

I'm definitely not opening one pack or box if prices for themes remain.
Paying 50 for a topper box without any garantuee of getting something good is just a rip off. you can snag all the emeralds for cheap, so unless you don't pull at least 2 saphhs or 1 ruby you just burn your cash.
