    Would kiki be worth it?

I have 1100 cards at this point n that itself takes a lot of time if you wanna pick up cards for the best prices.

So according to my estimates it would probably cost me 200k (maybe little less or more) but a lot of time to get to 1400. Anyone who has kiki out there, what would their opinion be? Whether he is worth it or not?

I feel at one point I would want my SF to have good 3 point and good defense. Someone like kawhi or kawhi even when the good current cards get released.

I'm just really confused and could use some different perspectives.

I got him and don't even like him, he's not in my lineup. Yes, his 3point shot is fire. But he is awful on defense and I don't like having defensive liabilities in my lineup.

Just use Peja Stojaković or Robert Horry instead.

He's not that good. Too slow to drive so never see his 95 layup in action. Shooting is great but misses wide open shots sometimes even with good release like 2k always seems to do with players who have super high 3 ball. Defense is god-awful.

I have him in my lineup because he actually brings my overall rating down 1 or 2 points compared to rubies and amethysts lmao

I think he is ok, but he is not "the" card you are grinding for.
Who really is worth it in my opinion is Grant Hill and also Bernard King.
The leap from Kiki to Grant Hill is huge, believe me.
If you wanna decide on KiKi whether to keep on grinding or selling, you should stop collecting - he is just not such an outstanding card like others.

Appreciate all the responses guys. Consensus def seems to be a no. And I was kind of leaning there as well. I mainly even built up my collection to get that Micheal ray then I was like might as well get 100 more cards to get the 40k Mt bonus. Looks like it would be smart to unload the collection.

@justlaze man i would love to get that grant hill but that's gonna be a grind and would require me to use a bunch of Mt. Even if I finish all the logos courts playbooks jerseys shoes, it gives me another 200. Then after that it's pretty much me trying to pick up cheap players. I just don't think there would be that many cheap players to get to 1600.

I have been working on the Grant Hill for the last week or so, spending all my time in the AH. I am 51 cards away, trying to make the push.

Good to read that the leap to Grant is worth it. So far the only collection reward I am really impressed with has been Michael Ray. Oakley, Rodman, Walker, Mashburn, and Kiki all haven't thrilled me that much. I am super excited for the Grant Hill because his sapphire is so damn good to begin with. Likely after I get the Hill diamond I will slow down with my efforts in the Ah and focus on finishing historic dom and getting into road.

You gotta focus on cheaper historic golds and emeralds after your done with non-player items and current collection in order to get there. It's possible if you have the will and time.
Don't forget that we will have moments cards soon, so there will be opportunities to pick up more cheaper cards.
Do you got all the shoes too?
That was another +150 add up for me.

Have you given Antoine Walker a shot? His OVR at PF is only 89, but if you compare him to Kiki, he's better in every aspect but shooting with an additional 150 stat points: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/players/compare/8547/8504

All of his animations are really smooth, as well. For me, he's a super underrated reward card that nobody talks about.

I love Antoine, he's good at everything and can play all 3 frontcourt positions if you need him to. He has one of the best post games I've seen too his combination of speed and strength makes him a tough player to match up

Yes so at this point I have all those shoes, logos, coaches. Tons of jerseys as well. I counted how many non player items I still don't hv and it's about 200-220 approx. Then after that I can pick all the current cheap cards on days like Thursdays when new packs come out excluding the super expensive collections unless of course I end up sniping them. That could possibly add another 100-115. Then after I can try picking up cheaper historic golds and emerald as you said and then also wait around for more throwback packs to be released to pick up even more cheaper historic players. That way I know I can eventually get to grant hill. But what I tried to approximate was even if I were to pick up all these players at the cheapest prices possible I would end up spending close to 400-500k Mt. Now is that all that worth it for grant hill (I'm sure it would be at this point in the game at least), but I feel I could easily make do with someone like kawhi when his better card comes or even a better lebron with just average shooting. Not to mention all the time I would hv to invest to collect and I think that is the one thing that I have kinda gotten tired of. I rather just keep it simple and just snipe and flip and keep building my Mt for down the line when all the great cards get released.

Honestly, props to you and others who focus on collector levels. It's a lot of time and effort doing a lot of tedious work. This was my first year ever trying to collect cards and I don't open packs. It's very doable to work the AH and keep building your Mt but it does take time.

I just wanna chime in and put in my 2 cents that the Kiki card is pretty trash. Extremely slow and half of the court is a cold spot. Can't even use him in blacktop. I am done trying to make this card work.

I wouldn't say Kiki is trash at all. You just have to get used to his animation and know how to use him. He has made it back as my backup SG because I figured some great plays for him. You need to use him simply for catch&shoot and set up plays where he receives the ball on the right side (where he doesn't have all the cold zones). He can drain some easy 3s and is way more effective as SG than SF.

Kiki is trash, I was using him as my backup 2. Gave him a 3pt shoe which boost his ratings to 98. In 10 plus games he was shooting below 30% from 3. Picked up Klay and he's lights out with the same looks Kiki was getting, without badges. D Wade out preform him from 3 with a 81 rating.

He has a tough release, especially with the online delay...I'm only successful with the square button, can not time the shot with the stick in his case... he is also bad off the dribble, but drains catch&shoot for me. I rather have him than Dantley tbh.
